Background of the School
The establishment of the Hayranzi Special Secondary School was planned to increase the educational coverage of the zone, improve its quality, and support the efforts being made to create leading model schools. The Zone and Development Association started the Hayranzi Special Boarding Secondary School in 2007 with the aim of producing a generation that is capable of taking over the country and is competitive in science and technology research and dissemination at the national and international levels, and to create a healthy spirit of competition, learning, and inquiry among students studying in all schools in the zone. Therefore, in the 2007 academic year, the Zone and Development Association, with its decisive stance, recruited students from all districts and the Warabe City Administration and began the teaching and learning work by covering their accommodation, food, medical, and other expenses. Since its establishment, the school has conducted 04 rounds of the 10th grade national examination and 5 rounds of the 12th grade national examination. Currently, the school is working with 480 students, 29 teachers, 3 principals and 12 support staff. The school was ranked 10th in the country in the 2014 results and received the Prime Minister's Award. In 2015, it achieved 100% pass rate and was ranked 4th in the country.
